National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is under the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The NSS unit of RIET consists of volunteers who are willing to work together for uplifting the society. The unit has taken initiative to form the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) in our campus. The club aims at reducing HIV infections among youth through proper sex education, equipping them with correct information on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. The ultimate focus is to make the youth aware of the risk factors of this disease and prepare them as peer educators in spreading the messages of positive health behavior.
